Ben Marlowe is originally from Santa Fe, New Mexico and began his art career as a street artist in Brooklyn, NY. He received his MFA from California College of the Arts in 2013, and is now working as an artist and animator based in LA.
Beyond animating and illustrating, he works in printmaking and experimental film. His animations have received international awards, and his work has been included in competitive and curated shows at festivals, museums, and galleries around the world. Including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Jewish Contemporary Museum and The Las Vegas Film Festival.
He recently finished a residency at Otis College of the Arts and is working a music video for Egyptian Lover.
